The rooms are neat and practical, the bed is big.

comfy bed, new-fashioned room with a lovely view. riverside location near garden. again, walking distance to sandford lock river port.

Make sure you stay in the a double room with the view of the garden. Glad to have a patio, a balcony and terrace. Riverside location just next door to Oxfordshire, the restaurant in the evening and Oxford in peaceful location in beautiful grounds, and pubs and bars are near the hotel. Also, it's minutes from Sandford Lock River Port and other tourist sights.

I enjoyed very good staff and food. The location was stunning and peaceful for traveling around Oxford, close enough to the river, the establishment. Luckily it was close to William Morris Tearoom, had pastries there when it was hot outside.

We were upgraded to the luxury double room for free, the staff was excellent, the gardens just perfect. We will stay again for sure and we definately recommend it.

The location is magnificent, 2 km from Kassam Stadium. And it's near restaurants and bars.

We didn't like the bed, it was too soft.

everything from staff to food, it was a very pleasant experience.

The comfort of the room, the location of the hotel, it was a short drive into town centre and the pool was nice and clean.

The hotel was one of the best I have stayed in for the price. I can not fault it. I only wish I had been there longer and could have used the facilities.

A very attractive modernisation of a series of old buildings at the core extending to modern wings containing bedrooms with the expected amenities. A rural, riverside setting within 3 miles of the city centre

Very attractive building and large grounds. Good food available. Large spacious room. Complimentary wine and water in room. The tennis court.

The extra bed was not very comfortable for anyone but a young child. This is not really a family hotel but my son feels it was worth the lack of sleep because he liked the hotel.

Cozy and spacious getaway

The room was super comfy with a huge bed and good vibes. Loved having breakfast in the bright conservatory-everything was fresh and tasty. The only thing was the size of the dinner menu, a bit limited. Would've liked more options for dining.

We enjoyed being able to walk along the river into oxford. swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were good. The room was a good size for 3 adults, although the sofa bed was not so comfortable, the mattress was very flat!They should advertise that you can get a free parking permit for their sister hotel which is a lot closer into Oxford, only a 10 minute walk.

the bathroom could do with updating

We were leaving our daughter at university and after a long journey it was lovely to stay at such a nice hotel. Loved the location of it beside the Thames. Very nice and would like to stay there for longer.

We had a fantastic time at this charming hotel. The food was exceptional, especially the evening meals and breakfast, and the bar had such a cozy atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and very well-equipped, perfect for a relaxing stay.
